The Ouachita Valley Dog Training Club, Inc. is a nonprofit organization that was founded in 1988. Today the club is AKC licensed and remains an organization to serve and educate the public. By providing Obedience classes, educational opportunities and support of beneficial legislation, OVDTC is actively engaged in the responsible promotion of the welfare of purebred dogs. OVDTC promotes participation in all aspects of dog training including Obedience Competition, Tracking, Agility competition, and Therapy work. Our belief is that all dogs, purebred and mixed breeds, can learn basic obedience and can become a better companion at home and in the community by using a consistent, positive method of training. The club exists through the time, effort and dedication of volunteer club members. Classes offered: Agility- all levels, Puppy Kindergarten, Beginner Obedience, Canine Good Citizen & Therapy Dog, Advanced Obedience, Conformation.
