Elizabeth M. Jarrell, Esq., received the 2008 Capt. Arthur J. Haggerty Award of Excellence from the Alliance of Purebred Dog Writers. She has also received multiple nominations from the Dog Writers Association of America for their annual writing contest. She has written a monthly column of short stories called "Who Knew?" for Front & Finish since 2002. She has also been published in The Canine Chronicle, Clean Run, Off Lead, The Australian Shepherd Journal, The Australian Shepherd Annual, and elsewhere. She lives with her Australian Shepherds Annie, Mr. Oliver, and Sophia Maria.
