My name is Tami Tabone and I am a 39 year old mother of two children (ages 6 and 12).  I live in beautiful Upstate New York with my family, two Schipperkes and a cat.  I work full time for a school district and teach fitness classes at a local health club.  In my spare time, I am working toward a Master's Degree in Healtheology and am writing my first book (fictional but dog related).

Dog training was a passion of mine as a child. As a teenager, I trained in Obedience with the Ithaca Dog Training Club.  As an adult, I rejoined the club and began training my Schipperkes first in Obedience and Agility, then in Rally.  I also really enjoy the sport of Freestyle as I had studied and taught dance from age seven through my twenty's.  Freestyle offered me a chance to play with two of my loves -- dogs and dance!

The Ithaca Dog Training Club had given me the opportunity to grow in knowledge not only through participation in the dog sports, but I have also served on the Board of directors, CGC Chairperson and Club Historian.

I have enjoyed the dog show scene in the Obedience, Agility and most recently the Breed rings as a handler, steward and spectator.
