Training Tip for the Broad Jump

This is a maintenance concept I teach my dogs while learning the Broad Jump.  It keeps their return to me after landing nice and tight.  You will notice in the video that I have the X set up over the bj to ensure she jumps thru the middle and straight.  Upon landing I have placed a 2-foot length of fence wire so she needs to take a stride before coming to me.  Then I use the toy as shown to ensure she has fun and unpredictability with the exercise.
