Front & Finish, LLC
Last Updated: March 25, 2026
Front & Finish publishes competitive performance ratings and statistical compilations relating to canine obedience, rally, and related events (collectively, “Ratings”). This policy describes the general methodology used in compiling Ratings and outlines the procedures for requesting review of published information.
1. Purpose of Ratings
The Ratings published by Front & Finish are intended to:
• recognize competitive performance achievements
• provide historical and statistical perspectives on the sport
• support community awareness and recognition of exhibitors and their dogs
• contribute to the archival record of canine performance events
Ratings are editorial publications and should be understood as informational in nature.
2. Sources of Data
Ratings are compiled using information obtained from:
• official competition reporting sources
• publicly available event records
• data obtained from governing organizations
• exhibitor submissions and corrections
• internal compilation and statistical processes
While Front & Finish makes reasonable efforts to ensure the accuracy of compiled data, the Company does not control the accuracy or completeness of third-party data sources.
3. Methodological Discretion
Front & Finish retains sole editorial discretion regarding:
• selection of rating systems and scoring models
• interpretation of competition results
• inclusion or exclusion criteria
• classification structures
• publication timing
• presentation format
Methodologies may evolve over time as part of the editorial development of the publication.
4. Limitations of Ratings
Ratings may be affected by factors including but not limited to:
• delays or inaccuracies in source reporting
• variations in event participation levels
• differences in statistical interpretation
• data entry or transmission errors
• evolving competition structures
Accordingly, Ratings should not be interpreted as definitive measures of performance or achievement.
5. Corrections and Review Requests
Individuals who believe that published Ratings contain factual inaccuracies may submit a request for review.
Requests should include:
• identification of the specific listing or data element
• supporting documentation from authoritative sources
• clear explanation of the requested correction
Submission of a correction request does not guarantee modification or republication. Front & Finish retains sole editorial discretion regarding any changes.
6. Dispute Resolution Approach
Front & Finish strives to address correction requests in a fair and timely manner. However:
• editorial judgment is final
• not all disagreements constitute factual errors
• statistical interpretation differences may occur
Ratings disputes shall not be considered legal determinations or formal adjudications.
7. Archival Publication Policy
Front & Finish maintains historical archives of published Ratings as part of its editorial mission.
Published Ratings may remain part of permanent archives even if subsequent corrections or methodological changes occur.
Requests for removal of historically published Ratings will generally not be granted unless required by law.
8. No Warranty of Accuracy
Ratings are provided as editorial content for informational purposes only.
Front & Finish makes no warranties regarding:
• completeness
• accuracy
• timeliness
